STEPHEN
COX
World-renowned clairvoyant psychic artist
Each portrait created is
an original picture –
Through
over ten years of work in this field, Stephen has drawn for hundreds of people
all over the world. He prefers to
draw with charcoal and pastel – the varied tones of charcoal give each drawing
a loose, spontaneous feel. Spirit is
not static, spirit is energy, and charcoal is a perfect tool for capturing a
fleeting moment of that energy. Stephen
describes how he works: “When doing a drawing, I either have the person I am
reading for with me, or I focus on their photograph.
I sit quietly and tune in to the person, asking my spirit guide to come
close. Then I feel empowered to
draw. As I do so, the face of
someone develops before me. The end
result is a portrait of a loved one or a guide, depending on what is needed for
that person. I recommend viewing my
drawings in a slightly dimmed light, and focusing on the eyes.
That is when they really ‘speak’ to you.”

Dick
This portrait was drawn and turned out to be the grandfather of the sitter. |
Iona
Stephen called this portrait "Sarah's Goddess". However, he was later told that her name is Iona. Iona started life (on Stephen's easel) as a native American but by the end of the drawing, Iona had appeared. Iona is the Goddess that is present in our shop an is an "improved" likeness of the portrait above. |
Colin/Jack
This drawing is of a friend of a sitter's father - they were very close, particularly while they were in the Army during the war. |
Man Chau
Asiatic spirit guide drawn for one of our younger querents. Man Chau was insistent on letting Stephen know that he has a pigtail at the back! |
